Goodness You Can Taste. In 1955, James and Betty Belue ventured into farming with 45 acres of peaches and a packing shed. Ten years later, they moved their packing business to Parris Bridge Road, eventually started selling peaches fresh from the fields, and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, Belue Farms includes a retail store, acres of fruit and vegetables, daylilies sold to commercial nurseries, plus beef cattle and grain. Truly a family farm, son Mike and daughter Harriett play key roles in the business, and are supported by 15 year-round employees plus seasonal workers. Together, they help make Belue Farms a welcome respite that hearkens to days gone by. Our Market offers fresh local produce, flower baskets, honey made by bees on the farm, and unexpected specialty items like salsas and preserves, Amish dairy products, Clemson Blue Cheese, raw milk, sweet breads, and unique gifts and baskets. For those on the go, we can ship peaches nationwide. Stop by mid-April through mid-December, and see what’s in store for you. (Visa and MasterCard accepted.)
